Michelson trips at the first round.

At the Masters from Augusta, the first round results are still coming in. The one result that stands out and not for the good reasons is Phil Michelson's. As many saw him battle with Tiger Woods towards the end of the tournament, Michelson played a 76, 4 over par. He has a lot of work in front of him tomorrow. Tiger himself started timidly as he was still even par late in his first round. Tiger was playing fairly well today but missed every birdie putt he had in front of him early in his round.

The best scores registered this far in round 1 of the Masters:

Justin Rose scored a 69, at -3.
Brett Wetterich a 69 -3.

The tournament will continue tomorrow. There will be some cuts after round 2.
