Martin Brodeur ties Bernard Parent.

New-Jersey Devils goaltender Martin Brodeur yesterday earned his 47th win of the season and has tied a 33-year-old NHL record owned by Bernard Parent of the Philadelphia Flyers. With another New-Jersey win, Brodeur will break the 47th win mark and own the record alone.

There is a lot of spolight on New-Jersey lately as Lou Lamoriello was behind the New-Jersey Devils bench himself after firing head coach Claude Julien two days ago. Julien still doesn't have a clue about what were the reasons of his firing.

Let's see if Brodeur gets to 48 wins (or even 49), then we will be able to judge the Devils and Lamoriello's move depending on their playoff performances.
