Sharks are eliminated.

The Detroit Red Wings ended the San Jose Sharks' season with a 2-0 victory yesterday evening. Mikael Samuelsson scored both Detroit goals during the first period.

The rest of the contest was in the hands of Dominik Hasek who blocked the 28 shots by the Sharks. Detroit will face the Anaheim Ducks in the Western conference finals. Games 1 and 2 will be presented in Detroit.
