Canucks season is over.

The Anaheim Ducks ended the Vancouver Canucks' promising season and playoff run by defeating them 2-1 in the second overtime yesterday night. The Ducks wins the Western conference semifinal 4-1.

Scott Niedermayer ended the contest after 4:30 was played in the second overtime period. Canucks' goaltender, Roberto Luongo was once again fantastic for the Canucks despite the loss and the elimination. In yesterday's game, Luongo was very busy as he faced a grand total of 63 shots.

The Ducks are moving on to the Western conference final as they are now waiting for the winner of the Detroit-San Jose series to be decided.
