Ottawa sends the Devils on vacation.
The Ottawa Senators have eliminated the New-Jersey Devils tonight with a 3-2 victory in game 5 of their Eastern conference semifinal.
Antoine Vermette, Jason Spezza and Daniel Alfredsson scored for Ottawa in a very productive 2nd period. Scott Gomez with 2 goals was the only New-Jersey player able to beat Ray Emery all evening long. This was also the last game in the history of the Continental Airlines Arena as New-Jersey will move in another building for the start of next season.
