Sabres eliminates the Rangers.
The Buffalo Sabres has eliminated the New-York Rangers by 5-4 today in game 6 of their Eastern conference semifinal. A very offensive showdown has kept the fans on the edge of their seat all game long.
The game winning goal was scored during the 3rd period as Jochen Hecht deflected a shot from Daniel Briere late in the 3rd period. The Rangers trailed the Sabres almost all game long. Every time they were coming back withing one goal, Buffalo found a way to score another one. Buffalo will host the first 2 games of the Eastern conference final against the Ottawa Senators later this week.
Buffalo Sabres 5 - New-York Rangers 4
