Favre: new club record.
The Green Bay Packers were facing the Detroit Lions at the Thanksgiving classic yesterday. Brett Favre and the Packers looked impressive once again as they finally defeated the Lions by 37-26. And for the first time since 1929, the Pack show a 10-1 record after 11 games.
Favre also completed 20 passes in a row during yesterday's game, a new club record. The 38 year old quarterback found a fountain of youth this season. Once again, Favre played a solid game and registered 381 passing yards yesterday.
With only 5 games to go to the season, the Pack has a 4 game lead in first place of the NFC central division. With another win, the Pack will clicnch the division title.
Next week, the Packers will face the Dallas Cowboys who are also showing a 10-1 record after 11 games. The winner of this high profile match will more than likely win home field advantage for the playoffs.
So who is the best NFC team? The Packers or the Cowboys?
