Habs wins one at the ACC.
The Montreal Canadiens and the Toronto Maple Leafs played a very entertaining game yesterday at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. This time, Montreal managed to win at the Air Canada Centre.
Montreal had sent Carey Price in net for a change as Christobal Huet had his share of problems as he had never registered a victory in career in Toronto. The young goaltender did well once again and allowed Montreal to win by 4-3 in overtime.
Kyle Wellwood has made Montreal suffer once again as he scored his first two gols of the season. Boyd Devereaux then gave the 3-2 lead to the Leafs during the third period. But with just 7 minutes to go to the game, Alex Kovalev tied the score at 3-3. And at the beginning of the overtime period, Mike Komisarek intercepted a pass and went one-on-one with Leafs goaltender Andrew Raycroft. The defensemen chose a shot between Raycroft's legs and scored to end the contest.
The final game of this 4 games road trip will take place in Buffalo next friday.
