Habs KO's the Bruins.

The Montreal Canadiens were back in town after a four game road trip that produced 2 wins and 2 losses. Yesterday the Habs completely dominated the Boston Bruins and registered the KO punch during the third period of a 7-4 victory.

The Habs assaulted the Bruins net and registered a total of 52 shots on Tim Thomas' net. Michael Ryder registered 13 shots himself, snapping out of his lethargic streak. Saku Koivu, Tom Kostopoulos, Andrei Kostitsyn, Guillaume Latendresse, Roman Hamrlik, Mike Komisarek and Alex Kovalev registered the Montreal goals yesterday.

As for rookie goaltender Carey Price, he registered a third win at his last three starts. Head coach Guy Carbonneau will now have a choice to make. Will he continue to alternate his goalies or will he begin to give more starts to his rookie goaltender?

We will have an answer to this on monday as the first place Ottawa Senators will be in town on monday evening.
