Rangers blows out the Trashers.

The New-York Rangers have just blown out the Atlanta Trashers 7-0 and now lead the series 3-0.

I expected more opposition from the Trashers during this series but it looks like I was very wrong. All that Atlanta can do is win the next game at home to extend this series to game 5 in MSG. The Rangers own this series right now. Tonight, Nichael Nylander scored a hat trick, including the game-winner. Ryan Callahan scored two goals, Marek Malik and Brendan Shanahan also scored for the Rangers.

This series could now very likely end in four games. Almost each year there is one 4-0 series during the NHL playoffs ''first round'' and very rarely people or hockey journalists are able to find out the right one before the round starts. It really is an art to be able to pick it up.
