Sidney Crosby scored the game-winning goal using the shaft of his stick on a pass from Mark Recchi halfway in the 3rd period and the Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Ottawa Senators 4-3. The best-of-7 series is now tied 1-1.
For over a dozen of players in the Penguins roster including goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury and Sidney Crosby himself, this game now represent their very first playoff win in their young and promising careers. The series now shifts to Pittsburgh for the next 2 games. Anything can happen in this series as it has just opened up. Both teams have the capacity to win the next two games and lead the series 3-1 as they can also split the next two games and go back in Ottawa tied at 2-2. The pressure will build up once again, let's see how the young Penguins will respond at home.
