Jackie Robinson: 60 years ago.

Yesterday, the Los Angeles Dodgers commemorated the 60th anniversary of the first game played by Jackie Robinson with the Brooklyn Dodgers on April 15th 1947. Jackie Robinson was the first african-american player in major league baseball history.

The players from both teams yesterday had the number 42 inscription on their jersey for the occasion. Many baseball greats were also present for the pre-game ceremony.
