Senators sign Spezza for 7 years.

The Ottawa Senators announced yesterday that the centermen of their first line, Jason Spezza, has signed a contract with them for the next 7 years. Both parties agreed on a 7 year/$49 Millions dollar contract.

The Senators are considered as one if not THE most talented team of the Eastern conference and with this singning things should remain the same for another couple of seasons.

So as of right now, the Senators have managed to sign all three players that form their first offensive line. Dany Heatley, Daniel Alfredsson and now Jason Spezza. The future of the franchise is now under contract for a long period of time and that should make the general manager job with the Senators a lot easier.

This season, Spezza has registered 13 points after the first 10 games of the season.
