Both the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs are out of the playoffs. The Leafs loss against the Islanders of last week sneaked back at them. The New-York Islanders defeated the New-Jersey Devils 3-2 in the shootout period today. Sad for both canadian teams as they both deserved a playoff spot.

The New-York Islanders will face the Buffalo Sabres in their first playoff series.
