Brady and the Pats marches on.
The New-England Patriots and the Jacksonville Jaguars were playing for a place in the AFC championship yesterday.
Tom Brady was almost perfect and allowed the Patriots to continue their perfect season with a 31-20 victory over the Jaguars.
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady broke another NFL post-season record yesterday. Brady completed 26 of the 28 passes he attempted for 92.6%. The old record of 22 of 25 (88%) was held by Phil Simms of the New-York Giants during the 1987 Super Bowl.
Brady's first incompletion came during the third quarter of the match. Even with such a high percentage of completion, the Pats quarterback completed a single pass to his star receiver Randy Moss.
With the win, the New-England Patriots are still perfect. 17 wins and 0 losses. The Patriots are waiting today's result between the Indianapolis Colts and the San Diego Chargers to know the identity of their opponent for the AFC championship game scheduled next week.
