McLaren inaugurate their 2008 car.

The McLaren Mercedes team was throwing a press conference at Stuttgart's Mercedes-Benz museum to present the brand new version of their F1 race car, the McLaren MP4-23 an evolution of the McLaren MP4-22 used during the 2007 season.

Attending at the event, around 700 Mercedes employees and around 400 other notables and lucky press members were invited and present for the showing. The main colors of the 2008 version of the car will remain the same, a dominant silver tainted of orange. A quick look from any picture reveals us the precision of the chassis' shape. It's embossed curves are the result of some intense (and priceless) work inside of their sophisticated wind tunnels during the off-season. The wings also show many new forms and curves.

Drivers Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen were of course present for the showing. This will be the second F1 season for Lewis Hamilton while the team welcomes Heikki Kovalainen who really had a respectable season with Renault.

Team manager Ron Dennis was very precise as of his objectives for his team for next season. Dennis said that this car would bring home both the drivers championship and the constructors championship.
