Lucian Bute's opponent for the IBF super middleweight elimination championship is now known. Sakio Bika (22-2-2, 14 KO).

Ranked 11th by the IBF, Bika has already 2 championship bouts under his belt.

This will be without a doubt the best opposition that Bute (19-0-0, 16 KO) has ever faced in his career. The fight will most likely take place at the Bell centre on June 15th unless the bid from Bika's clan beats the Interbox bid. But I would bet my last dollar that this will not happen.

The winner of this fight will be the mandatory challenger for the IBF super middleweight champion. That fight will have to take place before September 3rd.
