Favre injuried, the Cowboys on top of the NFC.
An epic match of this 2007 season was presented yesterday at the Texas stadium as the Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Coyboys, the two top teams of the NFC faced each other.
Brett Favre was injuried to an elbow during the second quarter and was forced to the sidelines for the rest of the match. Coyboys' quarterback Tony Romo grabbed the opportunity and registered a 309 yards passing evening. The Coyboys finally won the contest by 37-27.
Favre was only able to gain 56 yards before being hurt. Aaron Rodgers came in to replace Favre and tried the best he could to keep the Pack in the game. Rodgers passed for 202 yards and he registered his very first NFL touchdown pass to Greg Jennings, keeping the Packers in the game for a while. But the Coybows won that leg and all the Packers can hope now is to take their revenge during the NFC championship game, giving access to the Super Bowl.
The Coyboys now have an impressive 11-1 record while the Packers only suffer their second loss of the season as they now stand at 10-2. Brett Favre now has 10 days to recover from his injury and keep his NFL record of 249 consecutive start alive next week.
