Turkish Grand Prix: Massa registers his 5th pole of the season.
This morning on the Istanbul racetrack, Felipe Massa edged Lewis Hamilton by only a few hundreds of a second to register his 5th pole position of this 2007 season.
The leading foursome of the drivers championship have a battle scheduled in front tomorrow as both Ferrari and McLaren drivers took the first four positions on the starting grid.
With all the principal actors of this 2007 season qualified in front, the Turkish Grand Prix promises a good race. Only a quarter of a second separate the pole from the 4th position. Strategy could be crucial for the leaders as every second spent at the stands will be important.
With such a narrow difference in optimal performances from Ferrari and McLaren, some battles should also take place on the track. Once again, Sauber-BMW confirmed it's third place status among the constructors as they once again placed both pilots on the third row.
