Habs crushes the Flyers 5-2.

The Montreal Canadiens received the visit of the Philadelphia Flyers and Daniel Briere yesterday. The fans booed Briere each and every time they had the opportunity and applauded their favorite team at the Bell centre in a 5-2 Habs win.

The Habs played a very solid game, dominating the match from end to end. The shot total represented the match pretty well as Montreal outshot the Flyers by 41 to 18 during the match. Alex Kovalev, Guillaume Latendresse, Saku Koivu, Tom Kostopoulos and Chris Higgins scored for Montreal.

The Habs are now on a very interesting streak as they won 5 of their last 6 matches, grabbing 11 of a possible 12 points in the standings. Their next opponents, the Toronto Maple Leafs, will be in town saturday night.
