Montreal coach, Guy Carbonneau, announced after yesterday's practice that rookie goaltender Jaroslav Halak will get the start tonight against the Atlanta Thrashers.


After winning his first 3 career NHL starts, Halak has lost the 3 following contests he participated in. Tonight, he and the rest of the team has a mission. Get out of Atlanta with 2 points.

The Thrashers are in a good streak and will probably offer a good opposition tonight. The Montreal players have to immediatly forget Kovalev's controversial interview with a russian journalist. A story that have made a lot of waves in the province earlier this week.
