The chasers
Pittsburgh, Atlanta and Toronto has won their respective games yesterday and are moving the pack forward. The Montreal Canadiens have fell from holding 4th place to 10th in a matter of a few weeks.
Now more than ever Montreal is in an uncomfortble position and will need to bunch some wins together to have a chance of making it to the playoffs. Today, the situation cannot deteriorate for the Habs because none of the teams implicated in playoff position with them are in action. Their next game is tomorrow at the Phillips Arena against the hot Atlanta Trashers. Will the Habs be able to put their differences aside and deliver a performance?
Here is the Eastern conference playoff race.
