Miguel Cotto still WBA champion.

WBA welterweights champion Miguel Cotto (29-0, 24 KO) defended successfully his title against Oktay Urkal (38-4, 11 KO) at Roberto Clemente Coliseum in San Juan, Porto Rico, by TKO at 1:01 of the 11th round last saturday night. Cotto is a boxer that I like to watch perform. He is a powerful and fast boxer, technically sound. Some more championship bouts are bound to happen this year for him.

Among the locals, I like Jean Pascal. Still undefeated as a pro, a very powerful puncher and a superb man. He is finishing his college a few blocks away from where I live. This guy will clash with the champions very soon. He is already scaring a few in his division, I am sure of that!
