Michelin sues the FIA.

The Michelin tire constructor has sent a request in justice versus the FIA (International Automobile Federation) today.

Michelin is saying that there were irregularities in the procedure that allowed Pirelli to be the unique tire constructor allowed for the upcoming 2008-2009-2010 WRC rally seasons. There will surely be more to come on this story as it devellops.

Who could ever imagine the friendly Michelin tire character pissed? This internationally known figure has always looked friendly over the years. Now that they are suing the FIA, maybe we will see sometime soon the dark side of that friendly character.
