Claude Julien is fired

A press conference is scheduled at 12:30 PM today at the Bell Centre to announce that Montreal Canadiens` head coach Claude Julien is fired. GM Bob Gainey assures himself the interim until the end of the season.

Early rumors brings ex-player Guy Carbonneau as new coach for next season.
