Keeping the Panthers behind.
The Montreal Canadiens have won three of their last four games as they defeated the Chicago Blackhawks by the score of 4-1 yesterday.
Montreal is still sitting on the eight place in the Eastern conference, one point ahead of the surging Florida Panthers. Montreal has one game in hand on Florida until the end of the season.
The race will probably end with the final game of the regular season. With the fans expectations, a eight place is a deception. Many specialists thought at the start of the season that the Canadiens would rank at the top of the conference.
Yesterday, Canadiens' goaltender Carey Price beated Christobal Huet who was playing at the Bell centre for the first time since moving away from Montreal in 2008. Price have played with a lot more consistency in his last three games.
