One, two, three, four, the Canadiens hit the floor.

The Edmonton Oilers struck four times during the first period and won their game over the Montreal Canadiens at the Rexall Place by the score of 7-2.

Head coach Guy Carbonneau decided to have a bowling session in Edmonton prior to their game in hope to change the daily routine. The results did not meet the expectations as the team literally threw a ''gutter ball'' in yesterday's evening hockey game.

The Canadiens seems to be unable to recover as they have now lost 9 of their last 11 games. Carey Price is having serious problems in net while the rest of the team struggles in front of him. Once again, Price was beaten by his opponent, Dwayne Roloson who was spectacular in front of the Oilers net.

Yesterday the number seven was not a lucky number for Montreal. Seven goals were allowed while being 0 for 7 on the man advantage.

The team now travels to Colorado to face the Avalanche on Friday.
