Marshall Faulk retires.

Marshall Faulk, one of NFL's top running back in history has decided to retire yesterday. Faulk missed all of last season with a knee injury and understood that at 34 years old it was time to say farewell.

With 12 279 total rushing yards, he was only 33 yards away from Jim Brown's career total rushing yards. Faulk also totals 6 875 receiving yards, good for number one among running backs. For a total of 19 154 all-purpose yards.

Faulk also won the Vince Lombardi trophy in 2000 with the St-Louis Rams. He will stay close to the NFL and the game as a TV commentator.
