The Chicago Bears advance to Super Bowl XLI
The Chicago Bears defense forced the New-Orleans Saints offense to commit 4 turnovers in the game and advance to Super Bowl XLI with a 39-14 victory in the NFC championship game at Soldier field in Chicago.
After taking a 16-0 lead, the Bears saw the Saints come back in the game with the 81-yard touchdown run from rookie Reggie Bush to get back at 16-14 but key fumbles sunk the last hopes of the Saints.
The Bears head coach Lovie Smith becomes the first afro-american head coach in NFL history to conduct his team to the Super Bowl.
