Tougher than expected.

Team Canada registered a third win in a row yesterday when they defeated Team Germany by the score of 5-1.

Canada was only leading by a single goal after two periods because of the great performance of the seventeen year old German goaltender Philipp Grubauer who was simply spectacular in his net. Canada had to work during the third period to finally take a more comfortable lead.

Zach Boychuk with two goals led the way for Canada while Jamie Benn, John Tavares and Evander Kane each scored a goal. John Tavares and Cody Hodgson are tied at the top of the tournament scoring list with nine points each.

Day 3 scores:

Canada 5 - Germany 1
Sweden 10 - Latvia 1
