Move over Marino!
Yesterday the Green Bay Packers quarterback, Breet Favre registered 2 touchdown passes and has moved in front of Dan Marino to become the new recordmen for touchdown passes in career. Favre's career now totals 422 touchdown passes after yesterday's victory over the Minnesota Vikings. His place in the football hall of fame will be kept warm.
During various enterviews wrapped up during last week, Favre has declared being a fan of Dan Marino himself and didn't want to put much emphasys on the new record he was about to break. His admiration for Marino is genuine: Favre still considers Dan Marino the best passer that football ever produced.
The Pack is back!
But more importantly for Favre is the fact that the Green Bay Packers are now a perfect 4-0 in this 2007 season. The youngest team in NFL is quarterbacked by one of the best QB in history and is heading towards the playoffs already. A little improovement in the Packers running game and we could have a Super Bowl contender over here.
Congratulations Brett!
